Today at Ruislip Manor Library, one of our specially trained advisors was conducting FREE NHS Health Checks - the mid-life MOT to identify ways of improving your health. Those who are 40-74 years old can have their blood pressure checked, cholesterol levels identified and also their blood glucose levels. In addition, their BMI is calculated and their levels of exercise and alcohol intake are looked at. The day has been a resounding success as part of February's Healthy Heart Month, and we look forward to going back there again. Next stop - Ickenham Library!
