Trained staff from Ruislip Manor Pharmacy will be attending Manor Farm Library to deliver an important NHS screening program for Hillingdon residents who may be at risk of cardiovascular disease , but are not already being seen by their own doctor for High Blood Pressure, Diabetes or High Cholesterol.
The pharmacy is working with other public places to help raise awareness in the public so that people can take steps to maintain or improve health.
The check is available for people aged 40 to 74 years of age who have not been diagnosed with the conditions mentioned earlier.

The pharmacy has been successfully providing the NHS Health Check screening service and advice for some years and has found that this consultation can be very useful for smokers who are considering stop smoking as patients can be referred on to the Pharmacy Stop smoking Service to support a quit attempt.
Anyone interested should come to the Library or contact the pharmacy if they are unable to come to the drop in session.
